About the company

Icefire was founded in September 2002 by four IT managers and experts of Swedbank. The company is strongly keeping the values set in the moment of founding: always deliver the best solution for customer, always within time and budget. Icefire has strong customer base including Telcos, Banks and Public Sector Institutions. Today, there is 50+ experienced and talented people working in the company.

Jüri Kirme

Systematic, rational and with great stress-resistance – Jüri is Icefire’s symbol of diligence. He is one of the most talented project managers in Estonia who is able to successfully finish even the most complex time-critical projects. The customers, as well as colleagues, are happy and feel safe by having Jüri as their Project Manager. Even in the most challenging projects, he is able to gather deep understanding of the business and technical details of the proposed solution, as well as manage the administrative complexity of the project equally well. Doing these two things simultaneously has been his key to success.

In 30.11.2011, Jüri Kirme was awarded with Badge of Honour, Rank II by the Estonian Tax and Custom’s Board.

Award was given for extraordinary dedication as well as for fast and very high quality job on developing IT solutions, essential for Estonian Tax and Custom’s Board, resulting successful migration to euro of more than 50 IS-s timely and without interruptions.

During the period 2008 – 2010, Icefire acted as main partner for ETBS in developing new Revenue Accounting System. This development was led by Jüri Kirme. The new system helped to improve the service quality and user-friendliness of the services offered by ETBC. Among the other things, it created the possibility to deploy customer’s pre-payment account.
